A logo for a great organization here in Canada, CANSCAIP. Check them out at

Okay folks, I've been enjoying drawing this fantasy stuff WAAAAYYY too much. I found a great blog that posts cool challenges. (http://artorder.blogspot.com/ hosted by a VERY generous Art Director, Jon Schindehette) Above are my thoughts on the Biker Challenge. I had to listen to a little Judas Priest and one of my fav albums, Rainbow Rising, while I was working on them. Just to set the mood...

KENKU FAN CLUB!
Apologies to Russ Nicholson. My sketch as fan art for his work.

Russ Nicholson's incredible Kenku drawing from the old Fiend Folio. His style is beautiful. All of his drawings in the book were fabulous.

When I was reading Tony DiTerlizzi's blog, I saw his sketch of a Kenku (see link)http://diterlizzi.com/blog/2008/04/
and I thought "That's so awesome. I'd love to draw a Kenku! They rocked." Tony DiTerlizzi also rocks.

The top image is a redraw of something I did years ago and always wanted to revisit. It'd be a great painting.

I think she may be happier if she got out of the rain. Then again, maybe not.
This would be my dream house...especially if I was a leprechaun.
Your standard "I'm too cool because I'm Immortal" Elf.

I think they just load this guy into a catapult and launch him over the enemies walls. Arnie "Cannonball" Jefferson.

When I was in the Himalayas I saw a Sadhu on a pilgrimage that looked about as happy as this guy. I think he'd been walking a very long time.

Rakshasa are cool.

A couple more sketches. I love drawing the critters that lurk about in the backgrounds.

Here are two illustrations for the next issue of Kobold Quarterly. (www.koboldquarterly.com)
I rarely get a chance to do black and white art, but I'm likin' it!
This has been kicking around in my brain for years now. The rider reminds me of Sweetums from the Muppet Show. I always had a soft spot for Sweetums.

Well, the results are in! Jeffrey and Sloth was named the Honor book at this years Chocolate Lily Awards( http://www.chocolatelilyawards.com/). The top award went to Mechanimals, by Chris Tougas. It sounds like it was great fun! I wish I could've been there.
